O’ahu-based glass artist Kiani Dwight works with a range of glass mediums including stained glass, dalle de verre, fused glass, and mosaics. She apprenticed under her grandfather, Joe Dwight, artist and owner of Joe Dwight’s Stained and Hot Glass Creations in Kailua, Hawai’i. With a primary focus on stained glass, Kiani’s past works include both copper foil and lead came techniques with a specialization in Hawaiian imagery, flora, and fauna. As an independent artist, she designs and constructs her pieces.

Kiani currently pursues a master’s degree in Stained Glass Conservation & Heritage Management at the University of York in York, England. She completed two professional studio placements in stained glass conservation in Ghent, Belgium, working at the renowned Atelier Mestdagh and under conservator and art historian Aletta Rambaut.
